    Fabulous

The lamb hotel was right in the centre of Ely so super if your visiting the Cathedral. The food, service and room was excellent. This is not a modern hotel and this should be considered when booking as the rooms/hotel has an old feel to it and is part of the charm but if you want modern this is not for you. Breakfast was lovely with a traditional english menu and excellent table service, made a nice change from the usual buffet fayre of most uk hotels now.

The function room was a bit noisy but this is a city centre hotel and can be expected, request a room futher away if this is a problem for you.

Tired but they are trying to ring it up to date

    Good

    Location and free wifi

Price lack of parking and if there fully booked they struggle at breakfast. And why weren't we offered a cheaper room on Saturday if they weren't fully booked ?

Breakfast service terribly slow and had to ask for cutlery, crockery, butter, etc. several times Waitress very apologetic.

    Fabulous

had altered internally since our last stay and this was for the better, more bar and dining area. food good value for money. gentleman on reception friendly and cheerful, along with the lovely lady who served us in the bar/dining area who was interested in how we were to spend our day and at the end of the day asked us if we had enjoyed ourselves and the weekend altogether.

noisy early in the morning - but this is situated on A road junction so to be expected.

    Very good

It was in the town centre, the pub rooms were very comfortable and was able to good food at reasonable prices

The shower room could do with updating and the ths flooring in the shower was in a very bad state

    Good

The location. The bar staff are excellent. I know the Lamb well from when we used to live in Ely.

A bit expensive for what it is. No lift, no help carrying suitcases upstairs. Parking an issue. The first room we were shown was too small and very much not up to the mark. We requested a move, which was agreed in a polite and professional manner. I know Ely is expensive, partly because of the cathedral and the proximity to a horribly overpriced Cambridge, but the lamb is expensive for what you get.
